Awrite mate - W instead of L

and a dropped T that shines

a light on insecurities

that cower in the glare

of a choice I never made. Not

should have but definitely could have

if I'd listened to advice from

my Dad and his Dad who said

Go, get a trade son, for

manual labour is good for the soul.

Scott is an Edinburgh-based poet whose work explores the stories we tell ourselves when trying to make sense of the messy big picture. His poems take a deep dive into human connection, injustice, and the natural world. He tries to write and join the dots.
